The history of the brand Versace was born in the 1950s in Reggio Calabria where Gianni takes his first steps in the family tailoring. In 1972 he moved to Milan and in 1978 he brought a women's collection on the catwalk aimed at discovering all the potential of the skin, a year later he launched the first men's collection. The Versace woman marked the 80s and 90s, her woman is shamelessly glamorous and sexy. Brand symbol the Medusa, mythological figure that embodies his woman who is capable of seducing and bewitching with a look. Since the death of Gianni Versace in Miami Beach in July 1997, the company has been in the hands of Donatella Versace, his sister and successful designer.
